Novotel enamelled glass by RIOU OCEAN GLASS

The RIOU OCEAN GLASS teams are currently mobilizing with passion to produce 2,000 square meters of enamelled glass for the Novotel located in Madagascar.

RIOU OCEAN GLASS enamelled glass is a glass decoration and treatment technique involving the application of colored enamel onto a glass surface. This process allows for the creation of durable and resilient designs, offering varied visual effects and color shades. Enamelled glass is widely used in contemporary architecture, especially for facades, windows, partitions, and even in interior applications like doors and shower walls.

The enamel, a powder made from pigments and metallic oxides, is applied directly onto the glass by our teams. The glass is then heated in a kiln at a high temperature, typically between 600°C and 700°C, which fuses the enamel with the glass surface. Once cooled, the glass becomes more resistant to scratches, ultraviolet rays, and various weather conditions.

Building on its expertise and craftsmanship, RIOU OCEAN GLASS offers a diverse range of enamelled glass to best meet its clients’ expectations. The opaque enamelled glass allows the enamel to cover the entire surface, making the glass fully opaque.

Translucent enamelled glass allows the enamel to be applied in a way that lets light pass through while reducing transparency.

Decorative enamelled glass enables the creation of specific patterns or designs for a fully customizable look.
Safety enamelled glass can be combined with reinforcement treatment for applications that require increased safety in glass usage.

Enamelled glass thus offers a combination of aesthetics, durability, functionality, and customization. Our teams provide it for dressing building facades, interior designs, and even urban furniture.
